Mr. T. J. Wilson
Group Director – Finance & Administration
An expert healthcare administrator with more than two decades of experience in healthcare
finance and administration, Mr. Wilson started his career in India and joined the
group as a Financial Controller in 1998. His qualification as a graduate of commerce
from University of Calicut and an Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of India form the background of his skills and expertise.
With his overall professional experience in diversified fields, he was successful
in centralizing the activities of the organization. His astute Financial, Project
Management and Human Resource Development skills made him scale the heights of accomplishment
to become the General Manger - Finance & Administration for the Group in 2003. He
is instrumental in transforming the vision of the group to grow as the largest healthcare
provider in the Middle East and India. In his current position as the Group Director,
his primary role is the overall management of and strategic planning for the Group,
which includes expansion of the organization in the regions of UAE, Oman, Qatar
and India.

Dr. Hari Menon
General Manager – Operations
Dr. Hari Menon began his career as a doctor and in the capacity of Medical Officer.
He started managing multispecialty hospitals early in his career. Apart from the
extensive clinical exposure, his keenness in the hospital administration activities
led him to specialize in this field garnering a wide experience for him in various
geographies including the GCC. With his medical education background and skills
in financial management, he took senior roles in the health care insurance sector
as well. During his previous assignmentsin leading positions at various multi-specialty
health care institutes, he was actively involved in all operational activities,
quality control, business developmentand strategic planning.
He is a certified international surveyor appointed by the Australian Council on
Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) and has been surveying various hospitals
in Australia, Middle East and South Asia. He joined the Aster Medical Centre Management
Team in 2011 and brought with him his administrative skills and innovative approach.
He is determined to take the operations to new heights with his characteristic passion
for excellence and success.

Mr. Kartik Thakrar
Assistant General Manager – Finance
A bachelor of commerce from university of Calicut, India and a Chartered Accountant
from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mr. Kartik headed in the direction
of financial management right from the beginning when he started his career in a
healthcare organization in India in 1998. He got associated with D M Healthcare
in 2003 as the manager for Finance and supervised the Finance and Accounting operations.
Mr. Kartik is extensively involved in the planning and execution process, especially
in bringing Private Equity partners to the group.
The demonstration of his abilities in his assignments got him the position of Senior
Manager – Finance in 2008. He is responsible for the finance and accounting operations
including risk management, finance reporting, tax planning and budgeting process.
He is an integral part of the senior executive team at D M Healthcare and is involved
in all strategic decisions including project feasibility, business acquisitions,
capital investments, internal process and systems review, development of new business
models and investor relations.

Mr. Mathew T. S.
Assistant General Manager – Human Resources
As he completed his Master’s degree in Social Work from Rajasthan Vidyapeeth India
in 1998, Mr. Mathew was all set to take on his favorite field of personnel management.
He started his career in India in the field of Human resources management and administration
before moving to Gulf region. He became a part of D M Healthcare in 2007 as there
was a perfect match of a manager pursuing his career in employee development and
human resource management an organization always welcoming professionals with a
drive to excel at what they do.
Mr. Mathew currently holds the position of Assistant General Manager - Human Resource
Management and is responsible for supervising the related management activities
for Aster Pharmacies, Medical Centres and Hospitals in the UAE region. Complaint
management and people development is his forte as he fondly plays the role of a
guide and guardian for the employees in the organization. He fervently seeks his
passion to make D M Healthcare the employer of choice for all healthcare professionals.

Mr. Abdul Azeez
Assistant General Manager – Insurance
Towards the final days of graduation, Mr. Azeez couldn’t wait to come out in the
field and get to work in insurance sector. His deep interest in this vivid business
segment made him move to newer and bigger assignments with every passing year. With
his constant efforts he soon acquired well over one and a half decade of hard earned
experience in all the aspects of insurance. He also worked extensively with many
premiums healthcare insurance providers and payers.
In 2011, he became a part of the DM Healthcare insurance team, taking up his new
role as the Senior Manager of insurance responsible for the entire GCC. He brought
with him his many years of insurance wisdom and improved efficiency at work. His
responsibilities include the complete management of the insurance department at
the organization. He looks forward to making the department an example for all providers
to follow in the times to come.

Mr. David D. Aroujo
Senior Manager – Information Technology
After completing his graduation in commerce from Calicut University in India, Mr.
David went on to pursue Information and System Management as a career. He soon started
his career in India as a System Analyst and Programmer. He moved to UAE and became
a part of D M Healthcare in 2001.
It was quickly identified that he is a genius in his own right as he developed and
implemented the information systems for Aster Pharmacies and Medical Centres. As
the Senior Manager for Information Technology he is responsible for continuous system
analysis, design, implementation and improvisation. System automation has been his
dream and passion throughout his career which he seeks now even more than before
as D M Healthcare poises to become the largest healthcare provider in various geographies.

Mr. Salahudheen
Senior Manager – Accounts
Starting his career as an accountant in India, Mr. Salahudeen moved to the Gulf
shore, confident of his skills and looking for bigger challenges. Having a bachelors’
degree in commerce from Calicut University, India, he was sure his expertise is
not to be restricted to a region or geography. He found the right opportunity as
he joined D M Healthcare in 1997 and was given the responsibility for the accounting
activities of D M Healthcare’s flagship clinic.
The responsibilities increased in geometric progression with his experience and
he soon rose to the ranks of Senior Manager - Accounts, the position he holds currently.
His responsibilities include supervising the accounting of the Aster Medical Centres
as well as Aster Hospital in UAE. As the ascent for him in his profession continues
along with the organization, he follows his passion of seeking greater challenges
and overcoming them while ensuring success for D M Healthcare.

Ms. Beena Thomas
Senior Manager – Operations
All starry eyed and wide smiled, Ms. Beena joined D M Healthcare in 1995 few years
after completing her graduation in commerce from M. G. University, India. Her ability
to adapt to the environment as per the need of the hour made her an instant hit
with all colleagues. A thorough people person, she has experienced various phases
of growth in and with the organization to rise through the ranks and reach the current
position of Senior Manager – Operations.
Her responsibilities include overseeing the entire operational management of her
centres. She is also spearheading the continuing employee development and training
programme. Her hard work and determination to see a better tomorrow for D M Healthcare,
is what keeps her going. She handles some of the busiest Medical Centres of Aster
with her natural exuberance. Her confidence and sense of team spirit is a source
of inspiration for everyone around her.

Mr. Sajith C. R.
Senior Manager – Operations
Having graduated in law from Mangalore University, India, Mr. Sajith was an attorney
before he became a part of D M Healthcare in 2003. Since then he has thoroughly
comprehended the pulse of Medical Centre operations. His initial assignments included
turning around existing clinics as well as handling associated legal affairs. His
success in the same led him to undertake additional responsibilities in wider geographies.
His years of experience backed by his expertise as a legal counsel are testimony
to his aptitude for analytical thinking and strategic planning.
He moved up the success ladder in project planning for establishing newer Medical
Centres while handling legal affairs. Currently as the Senior Manager - Operations,
his knack for reconciliations and liaisons renders him the potential to bring about
a remarkable improvement in the operations of Aster Medical Centres. As a member
of the management team, Mr. Sajith is passionate about leading the medical centres
to excellence.

Mr. Vinod P. V
Manager – Operations
A law graduate from Bombay University, Mr. Vinod was in the legal profession before
joining with DM Healthcare in 2004. His initial assignments with the medical centres
helped him learn the ropes swiftly. His dedication and keen orientation towards
operational management in healthcare became the foundation stone of his career.
He gradually stepped up the ladder of success to hold managerial position in the
Aster Medical Centre team.
When D M Healthcare expanded to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, he was entrusted with
the responsibility of these units. His responsibilities grew with his exposure and
led him to his position in the executive management. He is currently the Manger
of Operations for the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. His allegiance to learning
paved way for his growth with the organization. His professionalism and hard work
sets an example to be followed.

Mr. Manish Jain
Manager - Operations
A Post Graduate in International Marketing & Graduate in Commerce from University
of Calicut, India, Mr. Manish has been in Banking and Life & Health Insurance sector
for over 12 years before joining DM Healthcare in 2009. He has been associated with
some of the largest banking and Insurance conglomerates in India handling various
products and positions with fast track growth in these organizations. Bringing his
flair for accepting new opportunities and challenges, he joined the Aster Operations
team to explore new horizons.
He is responsible for managing the operations of Aster Diagnostic Centres. He carries
a vast experience in service industry adding a new blend to the operations team
in terms of improving service quality, customer first approach, seeking greater
challenges to meet the commitments and works towards the continuous growth and successof
DM Healthcare.

Dr. Anoop Prathapan
Manager – Operations
Completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Trivandrum
Govt. Medical College, India, Dr. Anoop moved to Wales in the UK to pursue higher
education in business management fuelling his keen interest in healthcare administration.
Strengthening his clinical experience, he involved himself in the practice of medicine
for a few years after which he was ready to challenge the frontiers.
He found the right opportunity and joined the Aster’s Operations team in 2011. His
primary responsibilities include management of medical centres with special focus
on business development. He is also actively involved in the accreditation projects
undertaken at Aster in line with the Dubai Accreditation Center. He believes hard
work, passion and commitment can make a marked improvement in the operations and
he works towards ensuring the same day after day.

Mr. Murukesan Vattakkavil
Manager – Materials & Purchase
A Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mysore in India, Mr. Murukesan went on
to pursue Materials Management from Indian Institute of Materials Management, Bangalore
Chapter. His career started in the public sector undertaking in India; though evolving
markets and opportunities vectored him to healthcare industry in 1996. Healthcare
materials management proved so dynamic that there was no turning back for him. He
went on to work in various healthcare organizations in increasingly higher capacities
over the years.
It was in 2009 that he became a part of D M Healthcare and soon rose to the position
of Manager for Materials & Purchase. He is responsible for procuring all materials
for Aster in the UAE Region. He also manages and oversees the administration and
logistics at the Central Drug Store for Aster. As a devotee to quality in everything
he does, he aims to procure all purchases at the best price without compromising
the quality. His mantra is discipline and hard work and he continues to strengthen
the purchase department for improved management and competence.
